TEN GOLDEN RULES FOR GOOD HEALTH ( Kural)

1. An imbalance of the three energetic forces – Vata, Pitta and Kapha is the root cause of diseases in humans.
2. A person can stay away from medicine forever if they follow a simple practice of having a meal only after confirming that the previous meal is fully digested.
3. The path to a long life is by consuming the right quantity of food.
4. The next step is to stick to a suitable diet chart and follow them.
5. The person should stick to a diet chart and portion the meal accordingly without compromise.
6. A person who consumes small portions will only accrue benefits whereas a glutton will end up with diseases.
7. A person who stuffs food without giving importance to the underlying hunger level then there is no limit to the diseases that will accrue.
8. Despite these, if a person gets sick then a proper diagnosis, the root cause analysis and suitable treatment based on the physical condition should be adopted for cure.
